I am an Ofsted ‘outstanding’ senior leader and classroom practitioner, certified to train other classroom practitioners how to plan, resource and deliver synthetic phonics.

I have over 20 years of outstanding experience in the field of primary education and have successfully mentored PGCE students who have gone on to become outstanding teachers.

I have been trained by well renowned names in British education such as: Pie Corbett, Debbie Hepplewhite, Trisha Lee, Anna Ephgraves, Philippa Hines & Shonette Bason Wood.

I have successfully implemented their strategies at both a classroom and whole school level.

I am a single parent of two teenage daughters having effectively used synthetic phonics to get them reading, and to actually love reading, at an early age.

As a result, they have consistently exceeded age related expectations across the curriculum throughout their academic life.
